You guys are confused. We're coming into fall and Memorial Day in the U.S. is in May! (Canada doesn't have Memorial Day.) Now see how much you've learned today. LOL!!
    Tommyh

Our "Memorial Day" is in April but we call it "ANZAC DAY". FALL?? Oh,you mean AUTUMN! LOL!

Then it isn't Memorial Day, now is it? Confused and you talk funny too! Fall....fall....fall.... lol
Song..."Winter, spring, summer, or fall....All ya' have to do is call...
And I'll be there, yes I will, You've got a friend...."

"When Autumn leaves start to fall". Now that's a nice song.

Okay, what about the saying for Daylight Savings Time (DST) that we use, to remember which way the clocks get adjusted..."Spring forward....Fall back"?
    Tommyh

Well for a start we don't even need to save our daylight here in Qld.There's plenty of it to last out in any season.Down South the have it.That's Eastern daylight saving time.Up here in the Sunshine State we don't muck around with time.It is what it is! Until we cross the border into NSW.Then it gets confusing.Finding the shops closed when there is still an hours trading left a hundred yards away on the Qld side is frustrating.

I hate to have to agree with you now Tommy, after all of this back and forth, but I do. I see no point in changing the clocks either. I must go now. Fall is coming. LOL!!

Probably just going to my fitness center. But they have an outside pool with a huge slide. So , it will feel like I'm at a picnic, even tho' I'm all by  my little self.  I like watching the kids swim, play , and go down the water slide.  At least Gary and I went out to dinner Sun night to Hibachi  grill / buffet .

Uh, do you mean Labor Day?

    tabber

It's a bitter-sweet kind of thing for me ... I'm glad I did such a great job mothering that she is willing, ready, and quite able to be on her own sharing a flat with one of her girlfriends from school....and I'm gonna miss her so so much yet again .... wimp!
