Everyone has to sign up and if they already have health insurance it has to be approved by the exchange since there is criteria that has to be met according to the laws of Obamacare.

mycatsmom That's scary that it has to be approved by the exchange. I didn't know that. I have very good health insurance. So now it's going to be screwed up , it sounds like :-(
People who have no insurance aren't going to be able to afford Obummercare......that's why they don't have health insur. The gov. says it's going to punish people that don't sign up for it by raising their personal taxes. But, many poor people don't pay taxes anyway, b/c they don't make enough money.

Colleen They are not raising personal tax, they will send you a bill for the penalty.

There are supposed to be checks and balances in place to make the health insurance "affordable".  I was told that I would be able to get about $1200 discounted from my health insurance costs because of my limited income.   Your projected AGI (adjusted gross income) for your 2013 income taxes is used to determine for what, if any, discount you may qualify. Too LITTLE income, however, will disqualify you from a discount as well as too MUCH income.
Everyone needs to complete their registration before 12/31/13, I'm told.
Welcome to the rock and hard place.

DonDowningJr I'll just crawl under a rock, like a crawdad. No one will miss me anyway.........so sad. :(
Bob/PKB We would miss you here, and you know it good and well! I have to look into "CaliforniaCare.com" and am SO not looking forward to it. :( If I learn anything worth passing along to you, I will.
DonDowningJr I think you got it right the first time. I'm looking for my rock now. I just cleaned a big bass that I caught. It had two very large crawdads in her stomach. They looked like baby lobsters.
Bob/PKB That's so intetesting to me. In high school, the frog I dissected in biology had a whole bug in its stomach. Of course, I had to dissect the bug...
Glad you're getting the fishing time!
DonDowningJr I've rediscovered the Etowah river below Allatoona dam. I have a 14ft Alumacraft Jon boat with a Johnson 15 hp and trailer that I've been working on for months, always improving or tweaking. I go fishing almost everyday now. It's a 3 mile winding river with a "Lowhead dam" at the end. You cannot go over the dam. It's a submerged dam with no warning.
Bob/PKB Very cool, Donnie. It was always fun to spend time fishing in Six Rivers National Forest, boat or shore. Salmon, steelhead, trout. My bro-in-law enjoys bass fishing, but is a catch-and-release fisherman. It's been a couple of years since I've cast a line.
