    where do i find the settings icon which, upon selecting, will install startpage as my homepage?

    I can' seem to find the settings icon, which, upon selection, will enable the installation of startpage as my home page. I have checked the desktop, as well as the toolbar. can you give me a clue?

      Just create the homepage yourself. You do not need a button. Which browser do you use?
