The majority of the time that people have this problem with chargeable gadgets, it is because the charging socket has come away from the circuit board inside.
If you are equipped with the tools and knowledge to open the item and re-solder it, you may be able to attempt this repair.
If unsure, take it to a repair shop. These phones aren't cheap to replace if you get it wrong, and of course, by carrying out your own repair you will invalidate any warranty

Yup, was told by a friend who repairs these that soldering will be required. Certainly not something I would attempt.
