Instructions
Using Windows Media Player

If Windows Media Player did not come with your computer, download it from the Internet and follow the installation instructions.

Click on "Library," then "List," then "Burn List."

Click and drag the songs that you want on your playlist from the "Contents" window to the "List" window.

Move the songs up and down the list, once you have selected the songs that you want to burn. Think about the order that you want them to appear on the CD.

Put a blank CD-R or CD-RW into your CD drive on your computer.

Check that all of the songs you've picked will fit on your blank CD. You can take songs off the list by right-clicking on the song and then clicking on the "Remove From List" menu option.

Click "Start Burn." Make sure you have selected "Audio CD" as the format for the CD that you want to burn. A "Data CD" will not play in a CD player.

Using iTunes

Download iTunes and follow the installation instructions.

Make a playlist. Click on the plus symbol or click on "File" and "New Playlist." Arrange the music in the order that you want it to appear on the CD.

Make sure your settings are correct. Click "Edit," "Preferences" and then "Burning." Select the highest burning speed possible. If the disc you burn doesn't play correctly, burn it again at a slower speed.

Select the "Audio CD" format and put a blank CD into your computer's drive.

Pick the playlist that you created and click on the burn icon, located in the upper, right hand corner of the window.

Tips & Warnings
When the CD is finished, there will be a jingling noise.
