The trans Canada route is a great one...kind of straight across the country! There are many rest areas and amenities with major signage. Take along your insurance and registration for the vehicle and carry your drivers' license.Check with your insurance agent for travellers' coverage and protection against under-insured drivers. And don't forget your luggage and pay attention to the "slow" signs...they really mean it! Have a beauty drive and enjoy my birthplace! Peace.

You have 2 route options. Click here to see map and routes. You will be crossing into the USA so you will probably need a passport. As for resting places, get a GPS and program it for rest areas. You will be alerted when you are coming up on them. We are a general questions and answer forum not a travel agent so we can't really get as specific as you need.
