Didn't make it but I can do this kinda thing. I have Photoshop and for quickies like this (if i would have made it) I use Paint Shop Pro-- I do a lot of signage for my work. There's a lot of really easy to use graphic programs, Photoshop is pretty difficult for the novice user.

I've used photoshop but it lacked in tools so I switched to photofiltre. I like it but I'd like some tools that would help the pictures I create to look more realistic, like this one.

The wildest and best program I ever used for making 'realistic' graphics and also in 3D was Bryce. I don't know if its even available anymore but I can't use it anymore because i am running 64bit and its not compatible. That program was intense, you could even import jpegs and give them a 3d effect, incredible! I'm sure there are other 3d programs that are current. The picture above is high rez but not in 3d. With Bryce you could even add animations to make water in scenes look like it was flowing.. and save it as a gif. Now you got me thinking about it i am going to look for a new version.. i have some graphics I made several years ago, I wish we had private message here I would send you some of them.
