What is the most footling 'crime' it is possible to commit?

My nomination. Your 17-year-old son has a girlfriend, also 17. He has, deplorably, got her pregnant, but both families are making the best of it. One evening you, he and she gather after supper to watch a video that he has bought. It has an 18 certificate, on account of 'explicit' sexual references.

The most "footling" crime would be Toe Cutting, if you do not know what toe cutting is ask a adult.

You nonsense about a 17 yr old pregnant girl watching a "R" rated movie has no bearing on your so called question.

Umbriel You haven't read the question properly. '18 certificate' means on general release, 'R rated' is not, and in the UK can only be purchased from a licensed sex-shop. If you choose to run an '18 certificate' at home, before the movie starts, there will be a warning that is you run it in the presence of ANYONE under 18, you will be committing an offence. Now, O Philanthropic One, can you think of a crime more footling than that?
PEOPLELOVER Umbriel in the true LAND of THE free R rated videos are in the hire shops, yes they do have a warning on the pack and at the commencement of the film.
The only films in sex shops are "X" rated.
I also plead ignorance as to the meaning of "footling" hence my reference to "Toe Cutting" which was the punishment of having ones` toes cut off with bolt cutters for upsetting criminals in Australia.
